\"Orange<\/a>This table is the sibling of the previous one<\/a>, also\u00a0created by\u00a0Taylor Tilery (1930 - 1941). The tile design is the same but the black and orange glaze colors have been reversed.\u00a0The glazes on these tiles are quite wonderful; the orange has a bit of a mottled effect which makes it pop even more.\u00a0The corner\u00a0tile with yet another glaze combination appears on page 161\u00a0of the\u00a0California Tile, The Golden Era 1910-1940 (vol. 2)<\/em>. In the Taylor catalog the designs are marked as #147 Corner and #147 Stretcher.<\/p>\n

The tiles are set in a the same\u00a0simple wooden frame as the table above.\u00a0This table was fully refinished; the wood is painted, and the tiles have been regrouted. The tiles are in excellent condition, overall. One tile has a tiny chip close to a corner.<\/p>\n
